Shikamaru was walking in the forest at night when he saw Amaya with that knife. Somehow he knew what she was doing and appeared behind her (ninjas can do that, deal with it
). He quickly grabbed the knife and held onto Amaya so she wouldn't run.
"L-LET GO O-OF ME!" Amaya sobbed. Shikamaru said nothing until Amaya stopped squirming.
"Please... Amaya, please stop this..." he whispered as tears fell from his eyes.
