Lex is trying to comfort an emotionless Silvia when she was injured, she forced the doctors to let her out of the hospital. Lex followed her to her favorite spot, a cliff that has a beautiful view of the ocean/beach.
Lex: Why... why don't you care about getting hurt!? Why won't you let anyone help!?
Silvia: *looks at the sky emotionlessly* Because I'm always alone, I assume.
Lex: What?
Silvia: My father is always off doing his job, it could be the middle of the night and he'll be called. And my mother is always on the road, traveling. I'm used to being alone, I'm used to suffering through things without anyone with me.
